Scrap has a value and a buyer, and most of it is never captured, because the transaction depends on a collector physically arriving at the right address at the right time. For any individual household the coordination costs more effort than the material is worth, so it goes in the bin.
GreenKadam moves that coordination into a consumer app: the seller lists what they have, collection is arranged, and the material goes on to resale. Published on the Play Store.
The unit economics are the constraint
A single household's scrap will not pay for a dedicated trip. Every design decision follows from that: how pickups are grouped, what minimum makes a collection worth making, and how much of the arrangement can happen without anyone on the phone.
Routing is the real feature
The listing screen is the visible product. The value is created when several nearby pickups become one route, which is what turns individually uneconomic collections into a viable round.
A consumer app for a trade business
One side is a household that will use the app a handful of times a year and needs no instructions. The other is a trade that works in weights, grades and rates every day. The app has to be obvious to the first without hiding the numbers the second runs on.
