Your licence to use it

Brihat Infotech Private Limited grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Brihat Life OS on devices you control. You may not resell it, rent it out, or redistribute a modified build.

The licence lasts as long as you keep the app installed. Uninstalling ends it, and there is nothing to cancel because there is no account and no subscription.

What it costs

Brihat Life OS is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising.

Your content is yours

Everything you create in Brihat Life OS belongs to you. We claim no rights over it — which is straightforward here, because it never leaves your device and we never receive it.

You are responsible for what you record or write, and for having the right to do so.

Back it up yourself

Because the data lives only on your device, a lost, broken, reset or stolen phone means the data is gone. We cannot recover it. Use the export feature or your platform's own backup if the content matters to you.

No warranty

Brihat Life OS is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not promise that a transcription, calculation or reminder will always be correct.

Do not rely on it alone for anything where being wrong has serious consequences — medical, legal, financial or safety decisions included.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Updates and withdrawal

We may update Brihat Life OS, change its features, or stop publishing it. If it is withdrawn from a store, a copy already installed keeps working until you remove it — there is no server for us to switch off.

If these terms change, this page changes and the date above changes with it. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the revised terms.

The on-device speech model makes mistakes, particularly with accents, crosstalk, background noise and specialist vocabulary. Check a transcript against the audio before relying on it.

Do not treat a transcript as a verbatim record for legal, medical or disciplinary purposes without verifying it.

Recording other people

Recording laws differ by country and by state, and some require the consent of everyone present. Complying with the law where you are is your responsibility, not ours — the app cannot know where you are or who is in the room.
