Record anything. It stays on your phone.
Record, transcribe and organise audio entirely on your phone. Every file is encrypted on the device, there is no account, and nothing is ever sent to a server.

Overview
Most recording apps are a front end for someone else's storage. Dhwani Studio is the opposite: audio is encrypted on the device before it is written, transcription runs locally, and there is no server to upload to even if we wanted one. The only time it reaches the internet is if you choose to download the transcription model.
Capabilities
What Dhwani Studio does
Encrypted on the device
Audio is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it touches storage. The key lives in the phone's secure key store and never leaves it.
Transcription without the cloud
The speech model runs on the phone. Audio is never uploaded for processing — not during recording, not during transcription.
No account, no sign-up
Open the app and record. There is no login, no email address and no identifier of any kind.
A library, not a folder
Titles, dates, tags and bookmarks make a long recording navigable instead of a file you scrub through.
Before you ask
Questions about Dhwani Studio
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. Recordings, transcripts and metadata stay on the device. The single outbound request is the optional transcription-model download, which sends no content of yours.
- How is the audio encrypted?
- AES-256-GCM, applied before the file is written to the app's private storage. The key is held in the device's secure key store and never leaves the phone.
- How do I delete a recording?
- Delete it from the menu beside it in the library. Uninstalling the app erases every recording, its details, your settings and the downloaded model.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. There are no advertisements, in-app purchases or subscriptions.
