What frustrates enterprises most and how we solve it with precision engineering
A detailed look at the approach, delivery decisions, and execution details.
Distributors and multi-warehouse retailers face immense challenges in maintaining real-time stock visibility and optimizing procurement. Before Brihat's intervention, the client operated fundamentally in the dark. They managed 3-7 dispersed warehouse locations, over 1,000 active SKUs, and coordinated with more than 50 active vendors using completely manual, ledger-based tracking and disconnected Excel sheets. This resulted in chronic structural issues: complete lack of real-time inventory visibility across nodes, intuitive rather than data-driven demand forecasting, and critical vendor coordination gaps leading to delayed replenishment and eroded profit margins.
Brihat engineered StockPilot, a robust, cloud-native SaaS platform designed from the ground up to solve these structural inefficiencies. We replaced disparate spreadsheets with a unified intelligent control layer. Our approach was distinctly software engineering-led, prioritizing transactional consistency, centralized API architecture, and event-driven updates to guarantee real-time stock synchronization.
We integrated Python-based predictive models to shift procurement from reactive to intelligent anticipation. The AI engine ingested historical consumption trends, mapped vendor lead times, and applied moving average and seasonal demand algorithms. The system continuously learns from sales velocity, purchase frequencies, and vendor performance history to automate reorder points dynamically. This completely eliminated the manual guesswork that was causing over-purchasing and stock mismatches.
To digitize the physical workflow, Brihat introduced comprehensive barcode integration. Scanning operations for inward and outward entries were tied directly to the backend PostgreSQL database, allowing for absolute accountability. We built automated Goods Receipt Note (GRN) reconciliation workflows and 100% automated Purchase Order (PO) generation based on AI insights. Comprehensive audit logs were introduced for total platform traceability, fundamentally transforming how the enterprise managed its supply chain.

This system was delivered through a structured, governance-first approach designed for enterprise environments — balancing speed with stability, and innovation with accountability.
