Interview preparation was limited to watching YouTube videos and practicing with peers — with no structured feedback mechanism, no simulation of actual interview scenarios, and no assessment of communication quality, answer depth, or body language signals. Campus placement cells lacked the resources to provide personalized coaching to every student, meaning preparation quality was highly unequal across the graduating batch.
How We Solved It
Brihat Infotech built Edzer as an AI-powered career readiness platform covering resume optimization and interview simulation. The AI Resume Engine analyzed uploaded resumes against user-provided target job descriptions — scoring alignment across skills, keywords, format, and language quality, and generating specific, actionable improvement recommendations. A Resume Builder with role-specific templates guided users through building ATS-optimized resumes with real-time score feedback as they typed. The Mock Interview Engine supported voice-based simulation sessions where users responded to AI-generated role-specific interview questions — covering HR rounds, technical rounds, and case-based scenarios. Real-time analysis evaluated answer relevance, keyword usage, communication pace, and filler word frequency, generating a detailed performance report with improvement priorities. A Skill Gap Analysis Module compared the user's current skill profile against requirements for their target roles and recommended specific learning resources to close gaps. A Career Dashboard tracked resume score progression, mock interview performance trends, and application activity over time.
