Ease Yatrika managed school transportation for multiple institutions where bus routes were planned manually, attendance of students on buses was tracked using paper registers, and parents had no way of knowing whether their child had boarded the bus or arrived at school safely.
Trip logs for fuel, mileage, and driver behavior were maintained in physical files and submitted weekly — making real-time oversight impossible. How We Solved It
Brihat Infotech built an end-to-end School Transportation Management Platform integrating GPS hardware, RFID-based attendance, AI route optimization, and a parent communication app. GPS devices installed in each bus transmitted live location data to the platform, visible in real time on an admin dashboard and the parent-facing mobile app. RFID cards issued to students triggered automatic check-in and check-out notifications to parents at boarding and drop-off points. The AI Route Optimization Engine analyzed student pickup locations, school start times, and traffic patterns to generate optimal route plans — reducing total distance and idle time. Driver performance monitoring tracked speed, idle time, and adherence to planned routes, generating automated alerts for deviations. A compliance module maintained a digital log of every trip — timestamps, attendance records, driver details, and route adherence — generating audit-ready safety reports for school administrators.
